Continuity Program

Fall 2023 | Legacy and Cultural Burdens

Ann Sinko and Dick Schwartz

An invitation from Dick Schwartz….

I’m thrilled to invite you to join our global community of advanced IFS learners in the Continuity Program. This offer is available to those who’ve completed an IFS Level 1 Training or Online Circle.

For over five years, we’ve developed programs focused on IFS applications of current clinical topics. We’ve witnessed a phenomenal community of thousands develop and connect from around the world. I’m always excited to see how our IFS trainers and thought leaders are on the front lines of innovation with the model.

A highlight for me, are my monthly connections with the IFS Continuity community. During my live events, we provide opportunities for members to present case consultations, as well as selective review of client demonstration videos.

You now have two options for joining our Continuity Program.

1. You can purchase an Annual Membership which includes 12 months of programming, a total of three courses.

2. If you’re not ready to commit for an entire year, you can now make an Individual Purchase of just one course.

Enrollment is now open until September 30.

I look forward to you joining us!

— Dick Schwartz

Fall 2023 | Legacy and Cultural Burdens

Ann Sinko and Dick Schwartz

Program Details

Legacy and cultural burdens are ubiquitous; we all have legacy burdens that have been passed down the generational line as well as absorbed burdens from the culture in which we grew up. Therapists must have the tools and skills to work with the impact of unresolved generational trauma and protector driven systems (both internally and externally).

This program will help the IFS therapist understand the dynamics that create legacy burdens and the patterns that support the multigenerational transmission process.  An IFS protocol will be taught for unburdening legacy and cultural burdens as well as honing the therapists’ legacy burden detector.

The program features teaching videos, experiential exercises, clinical consultations, demonstrations, and live Q&A.

Earn up to 14 Continuing Education credits when completing this program. Credits are available for an additional purchase of $47 at the completion of the program.

What Others Are Saying

Sequential, clear user-friendly info, too many to even name!

I resisted registering for a few months because I found online training to be so technically undependable, complicated to access, user-unfriendly, poor sound quality, etc. I'm NOT techie so I just didn't want the hassle. This training, in addition to its expert, excellent leadership, provides a refreshing experience using technology to learn counseling. A colleague showed me how easy it was to access modules & materials, I gave it a try, and I was hooked! Thank you for all the obvious effort you've put into this remarkable training from a content perspective and the technical side.

I have recommended it to many many colleagues...I like the part about the therapist watching her own parts and recognizing that as soon as the client walks in the room you are doing direct access. SOme of the language has changed since I was trained and that was helpful. Love the authenticity of al the trainers! Really like the idea of revisiting the unburden part for at least four weeks, encouraging follow-up at home. You all worked beautifully together and are a superb example of Self energy. I am re-energized and more excited than ever about IFS. Thank you!
