- Define ableism, including sanism and ageism, and describe how these cultural burdens shape understandings of normality,
disability, difference, and human value across individual, relational, therapeutic, and societal contexts. - Describe how ableist beliefs and experiences may become internalized within the systems of both clients and practitioners,
contributing to exile, protective adaptations, and implicit bias that can influence clinical assessment, therapeutic relationships,
and treatment planning, leading to the privileging of certain body-mind experiences over others. - Apply anti-ableist, disability-informed, and liberation-oriented principles to therapeutic practice through critical self-reflection,
increased awareness of power and privilege, and Self-led engagement that fosters solidarity, advocacy, and diverse ways of
